XXA – News Update 30April2009

by on Apr.30, 2009, under XMen News

Firstly, XMen4x4.com would  like to wish & thank all of the supporters whom have shown up on the flag off day and making the XMen Xtreme Adventure 2009  a success. Much oblige guys and gals.

Some recent news from Alyna, the adventurers have reached Pangkalan Gavi. The drive from KL was tiring, stopping now and then to swap drivers. The convoy reached the Laloh around 7am, way after the transporter has reached. Everyone was totally exhausted.

Laloh has been raining quite heavily. It is still drizzling in the evening. The Mud Devil will be rearing its ugly head and the adventurers are preparing for the challenges to come.

Bad timing, Laloh’s petrol station is undergoing renovations. The Event Director had to travel some 30km to obtain the necessary supply of fuel for the rigs.

Other than that everything is so far so good and everyone is preparing to roll out to the ‘Hard Rock’ Campsite.
