23rd- 29th Dec, 2008.

Lrom members closes off 2008 book with a Adventure of a Lifetime.

“One Life Live It” that’s what they said after the trip. A trip among members lead by Rate De Silva@Atek xmen00 was well worth going. We were told to be prepared for this rainy season and crossing of 4 rivers that will make us fear most. All of us were brief that there’s no timing what so ever or programme is a adventure trip. All of us were happy that we made it to the campsite have a good two nights camp at the destination with rain showering in a mist like snow.

The G.Ais lift up to the name with so beautiful night and lots of tiger prints. Both Alyna, kavern and Atek had to shout for help as we went down river night fishing one night. We did not managed to cross in time when water rises so we have to shout for help. The current was too strong for us to take the risk. The whole group was superb with lots of hard work to make it to our destination with washed out track, bridge crossing, river crossing and landslide. Is the Journey and we also made it to the destination.

They love every minute of it and also adventure of rising river crossing when coming out.Let’s shared our experience. A big thank you for the dinner and Ice cream as reward by the members and friends for a good adventures.

Left KL night and arrived Pasir Raja Petronas for refill at 5.30am. We were told that the track is too hard core to even go in since the flood. We were also told the ruts are too deep, which i don’t believe cos we have recce the place before RFC in October. This track is supposed used for RFC 2008 as twilight zone but was cancel due to floods. The whole plan of camping at the recreation campsite site for breakfast changed due to no electricity at that area. We waited until 7.30am at the petronas yet still no current so we have to divert to smaller village (felda) about 12km away for fuel before entering off road. 4 vehicles – 2 Defender 300 LR, Rashid 90, Puma and Disco make this trip a memorable and fun adventure. Rashid have to leave on the Friday itself and join by Leong of Trengganu (RFC 2005 xmen marshal) a hilux on saturday after knowing the xmen atek be there. Leong who came alone and winching one time took one hour to find us in the campsite of Sg. Loh upper stream the river before Chengai Tree. We enter off road on friday morning and upon reaching campsie Rashid decided to go back out due to his promise to fetch his son in Lumut. Atek have to escorted him out and it took 3 1/2 hour to go out after rain. Pht by Alyna, Dzaeman and Eliza.
